About Mantiques

As avid fly fisherman, my wife and I enjoy traveling around the United States and we often find ourselves in areas that are quite remote and off the beaten path.

Since I was young, I have always enjoyed treasure hunting, whether it was rock hounding, shell collecting or picking up "cool stuff" on trash day on my way home from school (which my mother just loved). As a tradesman, I have always been interested in tools, and I often hear "they just don’t make them like they used to", which is true in so many ways.

In our travels we love to stop at local flea markets, estate sales, trading posts and antique shops. As many of you know, the antiques and collectibles geared towards men are outweighed by the more traditional antiques, or as I call them, "girly stuff". The idea for Mantiques was born! A place where there are only masculine things so you don't have to look through all the dishes, jewelry, dolls, etc.

We do the hunting for you! All items are researched and described as accurately as possible, then packaged with great care so they arrive at your home or office safely and quickly.
